Dr Rita da Cunha presented at a conference hosted by the Institute for Austrian and International Taxation (WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business)) on ‘Recent and Pending Cases at the Court of Justice of the European Union on Direct Taxation’. She presented on a range of different cases from the UK and Gibraltar, including Gallaher (C-707/20), BJ and OV v Mrs M and Others (C-168/20), UK v Commission (T-363/19), Mead Johnson Nutrition v Commission (T-508/19) and Fossil (Gibraltar) Limited v Commissioner of Income Tax (C-705/20).
The conference is a significant annual event in the international tax calendar, and is known to host the most distinguished experts to provide their insight and analysis.
