The Upper Tribunal recently released its decision in Arron Banks v HMRC, in which Imran Afzal appeared for Mr Banks. The IHT relief for donations to political parties was unavailable in relation to certain donations to UKIP, and the issue in the case was whether this involved a breach of human rights and/or a breach of EU law.
